Who knows better the dark and brutal history of the Thames than the river boatmen who patrol its unforgiving waters? This is the river in which Dickensian villains and East London gangsters disposed of inconvenient bodies. Where burning Londoners fled to their deaths during the Great Fire. It's where the decapitated heads of the king's enemies were displayed on spikes, and where Queens and Dukes were ferried to their deaths through the 'Traitor's Gate'. Over the centuries, the river has been a refuge to plague rats, pirates, smugglers and even worse...
In short, what we're saying is that the Thames has something of a macabre side... So what better setting is there for a Halloween party?!
